This week, Professor Andy Miah took part in a debate at the House of Commons focused on democracy in a digital age, led by GlobalNet21 and the London Futurists. The event was supposed by Tom Brake MP and examined how governments must adapt to the digital era. Speaking after the event, Professor Miah said:
"We are seeing a radical change in people's expectations around governance. In health, this is especially important, as more people want healthcare on demand, through mobile, and governments need to keep abreast of these changing habits. There is a lot of work to be done, to ensure that digital governance is keeping up with these changes"
